I’m Victoria
I didn’t start in short-term rentals as a service. I started as an owner.
My first property was in the Kawartha Lakes — a highly seasonal, tourism-driven market where performance isn’t guaranteed. Like most, I listed it on Airbnb to test demand.
It worked.
From there, I began to scale — restructuring the property, refining the approach, and using it to create the next opportunity.
That foundation led to more creative projects, including custom Airstream rentals and partnerships with established hospitality spaces— each one expanding how I approached performance, design, and seasonality.
Today, my work is built on that experience.
Not theory — but hands-on execution across a range of properties, from the Kawartha Lakes to markets across Canada and internationally.
Operating in a seasonal region taught me how to balance pricing, demand, and expectations without overpromising — and that same approach carries across every property I work on.
Alongside short-term rentals, I’ve also owned and operated long-term income properties — which informs how I assess what strategy makes the most sense for each space.
Junebaby is a boutique short-term rental management and consulting business, working with a small number of owners at a time.
While I’m based in the Kawartha Lakes, I work with properties beyond the region — building systems that allow for high-touch, intentional management, regardless of location.
Because done well, this should feel simple on the owner side —and perform consistently over time.
